Kokeb

Kokebi appear to be humans with brightly colored skin (green, violet, or blue), hair as dark as the night sky with shining strands, and six fingers on each hand.

Kokebi can live with almost no air. They are warmed rapidly by even the smallest amount of sunlight. They radiate warm light from their skin and hair. At the cost of a great deal of energy, they can manifest sunfire in their hands, eyes, or mouths. Their emotions can affect the amount of warmth they radiate. They are immune to radiation.

In the high mountains they dwell upon, they are closer to the sun and able to float. If they are closer to the ground, gravity will take a stronger hold. They are also able to see greater distances when closer to the sun.

Kokebi come from the highlands of Shem, where they live in cities of gold. Their ancient culture is complex, revolving around worship of the sun. In the colonies, they are deeply oppressed and hated, many claiming them to be greedy and cruel tyrants in their homelands. Those who dwell on the moons have a more unadulterated connection to the sun, some of them living much closer to the sun.

Qalba

Metahumans who ignite with intense passions.

• Diet: Meat-heavy mortal fare

• Habitat: Subtropical semi-arid regions

• Socioeconomic Status: Oppressed

Qalbas appear to be humans with red and orange skin and fiery hair. Their eyes are burning embers, and their shadows are yellow flame.

When a qalba engages with their deep passions - whether hobbies, vocations, or relationships - the fires within them literally ignore, turning metaphor into reality. Their hair erupts, their hearts glow, and they can breathe flame if they choose. The less they wield these flames, the more they store up. If they do not use them within a few days, their insides burn, so they always need to find an outlet.

All qalbas have empathic senses.

Qalba society is one that focuses on art, inspiration, and mutual support for creative endeavors. They create with flame as much as anything else, using it to shape glass and metal or to fire pottery or other ceramics. These arts are world renowned, and many are taken slave or exploited for their abilities and crafts.

In the colonies, most are exploited workers for the rich and powerful colonizers.

Srebro

Silver humans of the moons.

• Habitat: Lunar maria

• Socioeconomic Status: Oppressed

Srebros are silver-skinned humans with dark hair.

All srebros can survive in the light atmosphere of the Grey Moon. They are resistant to cold, heat, and radiation. Srebros can be heard for miles if they whisper and for much further if they shout. If they are on the lunar maria, they can lie flat and be unseen. If they wash in the dust of the lunar maria, they are immune to magical attacks for a brief time.

Srebros live in a complex culture on the lunar maria. They are nomads who get by as traders, hunters, and crafters. They love to make and wear colorful clothing, perform ritual dances during full moons, and sing songs that can be heard across the entire moon. They are witches and makers of mirrors, herders of lunar animals, and skilled merchants. They worship the moons and believe the sun to be dangerous, but they honor her as well.
