• Sue enters if allowed.
Dionysus "Good morning, Baron."
  • Sue nods. "Your Grace. Arlie wanted me to ... report something to you."
  • Sue tells him, if he listens, what he told the band.
Dionysus Damon listens, then says, "Interesting." He stands & makes sure the door is tightly shut. "What I am about to say goes no further than this room. Understood?"
  • Sue nods seriously.
Dionysus "I recently took a mission with a trio of priests into the Hells."
  • Sue manages to retain a mostly neutral expression.
Dionysus "While there, I met the Mother of Envy herself & discussed certain current events. What I learned was that the Lost Gods are uncertain of their own future here on Shem, & that some are seeking alternate methods to becoming part of our world."
  • Sue nods thoughtfully.
Dionysus "She also informed me rather bluntly that the entire dark pantheon save for three /hate/ them."

Sue "Who are the others?"

Dionysus "The three that don't are the Father of Pestilence, who is apparently in favor of their presence; the Mother of Ice, who cares not about them; & the Father of Destruction, who seeks their presence for the sake of furthering his campaign against them."
  • Sue digests this, then, if not interrupting, says, "Why are you telling me?"
Dionysus "Because the Father of Void seems to be working with a Lost God, & yet, I have it on... some authority that he hates them."
  • Sue closes his eyes. "Void Father, the Mother of Envy has said that the Lost Gods are Your enemies. Is this true?"
Dionysus No answer from Quaigor, but the Never says, She is known for her lies.
  • Sue frowns, but tells Damon. "The Never tells me that she is a liar. The Void Father did not contradict Him."
Dionysus Damon nods, "That is... possible. Her presence certainly clouds the mind & judgment. At any rate, it is something for you to consider. I have seen much more of gods recently than I expected. What you've told me, I admit, is worrisome, Baron."
  • Sue looks down. "Your Grace, may I ask, how did you get to the Hells?"
Dionysus He sighs, then shakes his head, "A spider priest opened the way."

Sue "Could priests open the way to other planes?"

Dionysus He frowns, "Perhaps. The way the spider priest did it was... unpleasant. I do not advise seeking them out, for any reason."

Sue "I understand. Arlie will want to know that I have given you my report."

Dionysus He nods, "I will inform him. Be careful, Baron. Whatever these deities want might not be in tune with what's best for anyone."

Dionysus "I've business to attend to. I trust you will not endanger your friends unduly?"
  • Sue nods carefully. "Of course." He goes back to the airship.
