Notable laws: The only law is that everything should be in accordance with the will of the Webweaver. Violation of this law results in death. Specifics are usually codified by provinces.

Military: The Web of Srisia is the Prophetess's personal force of spies, agents, and soldiers. The Temple's military, known as the Eight Arms of the Spider God, serves as the Hierarchs' forces. The Emperor maintains a mostly conscripted force of army, navy, air force, interstellar force, metaphysical force, intelligence, and other forces.

Culture: The lowest of people in Srisia are slaves, and they have no hope of freedom or redemption. Then there are the commoners, who have very little hope of rising above their station, for they lack resources. Then, there are the upper classes, the miltiary, and the minor nobility--these are at constant struggle with each other for power, a constant battle of wills, of manipulation, of intrigue, that stagnates their upward mobility. The upper nobility, the church, and the higher ranking military officials, however, maintain an unsteady truce in service to the Emperor and Prophetess, unless they are not busy with such duties--then they, too, manipulate, lie, and connive for more power. The Emperor, the Hierarchs, and the Prophetess, on the other hand, keep close to them small circles of real players, and these are the real powers behind Srisia.
