Description Sowesas are anthropomorphic mites. They are colorful, spherical beings about 12" tall, with 8 legs.
Procreation Follows the mother. Their eggs are translucent. Millions are born in a matter of a year.
Magic One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon.
Special Powers Sowesas are incredibly prolific. They can survive anywhere, including their homes in deep space, where they are invincible. They become more vulnerable when entering an atmosphere. They are split into 7 main tribes: algoric, web, gall, white, hair, dust, and bee sowesas.

Algoric sowesas retain their invincibility in cold areas on the planets they invade.

Web sowesas bring heat and drought with them, and they spin silk webs like a spider. They are distinctive with their pair of spots on their bodies.

Gall sowesas attack the plants of a planet they strike. They cause galls, abnormal outgrowths, on the plants they don't devour completely. They are worm-like, and when they strike, they rain down from the sky. Unlike most sowesas, they only have 2 pairs of legs. They are yellow to pinkish white in hue.

Hair sowesas are a bit smaller than the other tribes, about 5" long, and they nest in the hair of the largest creatures of the worlds they attack.

Dust sowesas are the most common forms, for they bring a cloud of dust with them that is made of their excrement and the remains of previous worlds. They cause worldwide atmospheric problems that cause the lungs of their victims to malfunction constantly.

Bee sowesas are 6" sowesas that inject RNA viruses into arthropodal animalmen.
Weaknesses Balance magic or faith can hold them at bay.
Culture Sowesas travel the universe, infesting planets.
