Minerva (Church of Owls, Sagacious Ones): Do not just seek understanding, seek how to use that understanding to your advantage. Know what is, and have the sense to use it. Know when, too, not to use it. Strategy in all things. Play chess to win. Know your enemy and your friends. Be, in short, wise. Put all the pieces together, see the whole of it, see the pieces, and know how best to interact with both.

Followers of the Wisewoman believe that the afterlife is determined by their actions in life, and that much thought must go into one's life to ensure one takes the right path. The worst possibility is Punishment in the Hells, where those who act evilly out of shortsightedness and capriciousness end up. Those who try but fail end up in a purgatorial state or in a waiting realm, and those that succeed have four possible fates:

The greatest go to the Promised Lands and find Salvation. The thinkers end up finding Enlightenment. The generals end up in a Warrior's Hall where they are honored for their greatness, and the simple good ones end up rising to a higher form in the afterlife, becoming one with the collective memory.
