| Description | A skoulik is an anthropomorphic hookworm. They have greyish white or pinkish skin. Their heads are bent in relation to their bodies, giving them a hook-like shape. They stand about 5' tall in their mature form. Their larval form ranges from a few millimeters to 5' in size, and their eggs are tiny. They have two huge pairs of teeth. |
| Procreation | Skouliks only ever accidentally reproduce, and when they do, it is at the expense of a victim. |
| Magic | One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon. |
| Special Powers | Skouliks latch onto other intelligent beings and drain them of their blood and flesh. If the victim gets away, they are usually filled with skoulik eggs. If they don't, they die and the eggs do, too. They have an insatiable hunger for pregnant mothers, though this often causes the eggs to survive and slip into the group, where they hatch into larvae and dig into people's feet. |
| Weaknesses | Sunlight or desiccation kills them instantly. |
| Culture | They are parasites that live off the lives of others. Their society is nonexistent, as they would kill any children their ever found. |
