Powerful but rare foxes that live to great ages, allowing them to observe mortals through multiple lives. They are agents of karma, interfering in the lives of mortals in order to teach them lessons they failed to learn in past lives. They are not intelligent, but rather act on an instinct instilled in them by the powers of karma and perhaps other forces. They can tell when someone is a reincarnation of someone they once knew.
