Description A sisyphean resembles a short, usually slightly plump, human (about 3' to 4' tall). Adults have a large stone they carry on their back.
Procreation With each other for new sisypheans. With other pseudohalflings, it follows the mother.
Magic One in a million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic and void are possible. Faith is common.
Special Powers A sisyphean is born without a stone. As they grow, they begin to make a stone for themselves, crafting it from a special humor they can produce supernaturally from their hands (imagine spinning a clay pot out of thin air).

While a sisyphean has his stone, he is empowered with great strength. He is capable of enduring incredible hardships and work for days without rest, despite the fact that the stone constantly wounds them. They have the normal halfling abilities of fear resistance and taunting. They are also fair at learning languages.
Weaknesses Hope magic or faith can damage them. If they lose their stones, they tire out and die.
Culture Sisypheans spend their lives carrying their stones and doing whatever hard work comes their way. They live to work and suffer.

Sisypheans live in small crews that work on a single job, then split up and move on to new jobs. They have no will to break free of their service.
