Upon hatching, a dragon immediately begins absorbing background energies. All dragon eggs are filled with pure, liquid draconic energy, which sustains the baby dragon upon hatching. |

All dragons accumulate energies by absorbing them naturally from the area around them. As such, they must carefully cultivate their lairs to provide the right kinds of energies, hence they hoard appropriate objects. Other common powers include resurrect, major healing, immunity to paralysis, choosing, and improve body. |

| Subspecies | Vibrant dragons have accumulated more qi than most. They have the power to empower or protect any living thing they can see. They appear to be at one with the living environment around them, and even the inanimate near them become animate. |
| Culture | Silver dragons lay their eggs in the boles of massive silverwood trees. The entire community cares for them and raises the young. At maturity, silver dragons immediately find mates. Mated pairs remain bonded for life, though they can have multiple mated pairs. Silver dragon communities make alliances with other communities near them to help expand their hoards and attain their needs. Older silver dragons spend most of their time tending the living environments around them until they eventually pass away and feed it. |
