There are well over 60 known gods on Shem. Here are some of their common titles and the general gist of their religions. Don't bother trying to memorize this. They are listed in order of relevance:
  • The Dreamer, God of the Fox Totem, God of Dreams. Major symbols and associations: dreamcatchers, foxes, unicorns, mushrooms, sand, nets, faeries, sleep, dreams, indigo.
  • The Gatekeeper, Death Herself. Major symbols and associations: keys, gates, pangolins, lotuses, ravens, valkyries, onyx, reaping.
  • The Wind God, God of the Skies, Falcon God. Major symbols and associations: falcons, feathers, wind, mountains, topaz, flight.
  • The Beloved Divine, Mother of Sapphires, the Lover. Major symbols and associations: sapphires, beauty, love, desire, sex, nymphs, butterflies, hearts, robins, roses, violets, honey.
  • The Arbiter, the Three-Faced God of Balance. He is seen as the god who commands the other Gods, and controls the world by weighing it on his scales. Major symbols and associations: scales, rivers, sienna, goldfish, 3, jonquil.
  • The Webweaver, the Spider God, the Demon God, the Manipulator. He is the father of the Devil. He is pure evil. Major symbols and associations: spiders, webs, demons, darkness, sulfur, pain, manipulation, ambition, arrogance, cruelty, sin, temptation. There were two other evil deities that came before him, the Serpent Mother and the Blood Mother. They are both dead, but they represented cold ambition and brutality respectively.
  • The Flowerlady, the Mother of Spring, the Mother of Humanity, the Mother of Hope. She is a goddess of rebirth and redemption. Major symbols and associations: flowers, especially chrysanthemums, humans, spring time, platinum, swallows, grace, hope, adaptation, redemption, courage.
  • The Storyteller, the Storyweaver. He is the God of Stories and the teller of tales. Major symbols and associations: quills, russet, raccoons, storytellers, legends, myths, histories.
  • The Veiled God, the Keeper of Secrets and Mysteries. He is the Silent God. Major symbols and associations: veils, cyclopes, white roses, moles, mysteries, secrets, quiet, thieves.
  • The Swanmother, the Mother of Light. She is the epitome of goodness and virtue. Major symbols and associations: angels, swans, gold, alabaster, daisies, crosses, justice, light, mercy, charity, prudence, kindness.
  • The WAR GOD. He is a bull-headed warrior god. Major symbols and associations: bulls, minotaurs, swords, bears, vermilion, milfoil, horns, battle, warriors, soldiers, war, conflict, strategy, tactics, contests.
  • The Storm God, Father of Patterns. A weather god. Major symbols and associations: storms, weather, patterns, rain, thunderbirds, bronze, bolts, electric eels, electricity, azaleas, yakshas.
  • The Ruiner, Bringer of Apocalypse. The destroyer of the world. Major symbols and associations: tridents, trolls, broken things, eschaton, hornets, titanium.

  • The Horsemother (Peace, Plains)
  • The Golden Dawn (Sun, Honor, Summer)
  • The Green Mother (Flora, Nature)
  • The Mother of the Harvest (Harvest, Strength, Fulfillment)
  • Euphony Divine (Music, Harmony)
  • The Crowned God (Order, Law, Authority, Justice)
  • The Maker (Creation)
  • The Scarred Mother (Despair, Shame, Weakness, Suicide, Slavery, Tears, Misfortune, Autumn)
  • The Silver Mother (Life, Birth)
  • The Three Goddesses of Magic: The Daughter, the Cat-Faced Goddess, the Plenary of Mana

  • The Halved-Goddess (Truth, Honesty, Trust, Objectivity) (she was once the Two-Faced Goddess, encompassing truth and deceit, but a mortal cut her in two, creating two goddesses)
