Esoterica Dwarves are aetherial beings, born from the earthpower imbuing the stones they are crafted from. Selenian dwarves are also beings of lunar aether. They are capable of using any other supernatural energies, but msawhat is rare and often corrupts and destroys them. Divine energies, other forms of aether (especially white tiger and brumal), ethereal energy, Foundation, dumaqu, arnum, poioumenon, Damaskian power, and mashoaab are all very common.
Special Powers

Selenian dwarves' aetherial power allows them to survive the thin atmosphere of the Grey Moon, shape stone, and see in the dark. They also gain other powers from their work with lunar stone and soil, often gaining powers such as having reflective eyes that reveal supernatural energies, bringing light from stone, and imbuing stone with lightness.

All dwarves are known for their steady feet, their inborn toughness, and their shrewdness.

Weaknesses Msawhat can corrupt and destroy them. Selenian dwarves have cyclical low periods.
Culture

Selenian dwarves live in cities that are built half in the side of lunar mountains and half in the caves within them. They spend the bright hours inside and the dark ones outside, in order to survive the changes in atmosphere. Outside the cities, they have small communities run by councils of three. Inside the cities, larger councils (always of multiples of three) run things, and all councils answer to a thane. The thane changes every three hundred years, selected by the councils.

Selenian dwarven families are made up of three generations. After three generations, a new generation starts a new family with other families. These families build into large communities that chose members of the councils from their elders.

The craftsfolk in their societies range from masons to miners to smiths, using lunar materials to gain earthpower and lunar aether, and pot-makers, who gather the moonbeams with lunar aether. They have schools and guilds for every craft and more.

Crafts

Pot-makers are special craftsfolk who make all sorts of pots. However, their most important works are special pots made form lunar materials that can capture lunar aether, which is shared with the community.

Masons use their aetherial powers to make wonders from the moonstone and craft buildings, streets, cities, and other objects. They have places of importance because of their role in building the communities themselves.
