Taken slave as a child, she was taken to Haenor to be used for her magical powers by the rich and cruel, then to be drained of blood. She knew her fate was a different one, however, and waited for the right moment to escape. She survived by collecting debts, and slowly but surely, she built up enormous power, trading with very dangerous beings within and without the Grith. She was granted the rank of warden when she was 29 years old, only four years in the Violet Grith, then great warden by the age of 47, then archwarden when she reached 71. She has held the position since, and she is known as a shrewd keeper and collector of debts.
