Description Saharials appear to be anthropomorphic figures with sandy bodies, patches of stone on their bodies, and flame for hair. Their eyes are black pits. When they stretch out their arms, an image of a sandstorm appears around them.
Procreation With each other.
Esoterica One in five million have heart or soul magic. All have soulbonding. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon. Aetherial and holy arts are common. Other esoterica is possible, but infernal arts are rare.
Special Powers Saharials can bond their souls to any desert creature, permanently, and they can control weaker desert creatures with their voices. They have a communal bond connecting their hearts and minds, and they are resistant to heat. They can elongate their arms, and when they do, the arms become funnels of wind and their sandstorm-auras appear. Their sandstorm-aura determines what kind of desert creature they are able to merge with. If they merge with a desert creature, they become permanently part of the communal soul of the race.

Saharials can also sense radiance and sol angelic aether. If they remain in one area long enough, they will instinctively find a desert creature to merge with--they call this "fading."
Weaknesses Infernal arts.
Culture Saharials live in tribes that dwell in the deep desert and venerate sandstorms. They chase the storms and ride with them.
