Beliefs:

Lua (Church of the Shell, Shellen): Home is the most important place in the world. Your home is your castle, your keep, your comfort zone. Protect it first and foremost. Home is something to be proud of. Keep it well and safe and clean. Likewise, your community is your home. Do the same for it. And then your nation, and your world. Learn that home means many things, and so does hospitality, but they are always to be respected. Your home is the most important, but others are important, too. Welcome others into your home, share with them, and let the world come to you. Always return home and remember home if you can, for it will keep you warm and safe even in the bleakest of winters.

Afterlife:

A follower of the Shell believes that when they die, they go Home. Their path home is determined by how they acted in life. If they were respecting of the Home, they will find an easy path to the Promised Land, where they await the Salvation of Home. If they were evil or violated the laws of hospitality, they will find their path blocked and be forced to dwell in the Hells, being punished. If they were imperfect, they will end up in a purgatorial state where they must travel long and hard to reach Home. Their eventual Home is the Presence of their Divine.
