Bardha

pl. bardhat. Bardhat are Sharian spirits of luck who appear to be pale, nebulous figures, like the silhouette of a human woman in misty white. They dwell in the mountains and underground, on the edge of elemental drams. They are indifferent to people outside their own, but if they are offended, they will paralyze them, render them mute, or cause them to fall from their horse. They can be appeased with sugar, cakes, or honey on the ground where they were offended (often having been accidentally stepped on). It also helps to say nice things about them.
