Celestial Workers
Those who use celestial or popular magic for common labor and jobs
Chuti
Type: Librarian
A chuti is someone who keeps the peace in the people’s libraries of Jedinstven or Vsemy.
Chutis are forbidden from engaging in violence, but they maintain peace in their libraries with passive magic that brings quiet and solace. They gain this magic through training, study, and a regimen of nonviolence.
Their magic comes from their nonviolence. They make an oath early in their training to never engage in intentional violence and to work very hard to avoid even accidental harm to others. They refuse to even engage in self-defense. Furthermore, they practice a quiet life, seeking silence at almost all moments, speaking very softly, and never making loud noises. They spend years living up to this vow, and eventually, they attain a state of peaceful existence that gives them enormous magical power.
As librarians, they are protectors of communal space. They let all in, and this means sometimes those who might cause violence enter their space. Other times it means those seeking nefarious knowledge come there. Other times still, imperials seek to suppress the words they steward. In any of these instances, their passive magic comes forth:
- Calming quietude: the quiet of the chuti causes those near them to feel calmer.
- Silent intimidation: if the chuti remains perfectly silent for more than a minute, anyone wishing them harm will become afraid of them.
- Untouchable aura: if they are harmed by violence, they become untouchable for one round per wound level.
- Unspoken reproach: if someone is too loud near them and looks into their face, they will feel supernatural concern at having been too loud.
- Quelling gesture: the chuti can raise their hands, open palms outward, and deescalate a situation.
Chutis are often sent out into the community with a wagon full of books to bring knowledge to the smaller towns, villages, and farms.

Sadilica
Type: Botanicist
Sadilijke are those who use special plants to spread mercy and relief. These plants are cultivated with celeste water gained from secret sources, kept in dark places, and only usable and growable by those who embody the virtue of forgiveness.
To become a sadilica, a person must be supernaturally forgiving. This is achieved through years of intentional work, training in the special magic of their gardens, and a depth of understanding of people, their circumstances, and their reasonings. A sadilica is someone who knows pain, trauma, and difficulty, but sees a bigger picture and has a depth of human compassion. If they manage to live this virtue for years, they achieve a state of supernatural virtue that allows them to work in the gardens, where the plants and spirits test them. If they are found worthy, they may have a garden of their own.
Their garden grows the following kinds of magical plants:
- Celeste aloe: aloe that can soothe physical, metaphysical, emotional, or mental pain.
- Merciful degenia: an herb that can, when dried and made into tea, soothe the pain at the end of life.
- The forgiver’s wort: can be made into a paste that forgives sins against the people or burns those who refuse to repent.
- Deadly ramonda: a plant that is poisonous to those who are abusive, exploitative, or oppressive.
- Virtuous columbine: a flower that shines for the virtuous, giving them protection from infernal powers.
- Dark bedstraw: a small flower that thrives in shadow, it can guide a person through hard times.
They can create medicines, teas, pastes, and other concoctions from these, and they may be able to grow other kinds of plants as they work their gardens. Their work is illegal in imperial lands.

Spravetorgov
Type: Trader
A trader who can make any deal magically fair.
A spravetorgov is devoted to equality. They trade amongst the poor and oppressed, giving away freely as often as not, or trading for meager items and services. They do this to equalize against what was taken from them by the lords, helping out if they are able. They operate in secret, often taking from the lords to do their work, and refusing to accept more than a person is able to give.
They live fairness to a supernatural degree, and they do this in conjunction with a regimen of meditation, diet, and self-care that allows them to feel at equilibrium with the community around them. This brings them into balance with the people they help out; they are never above them. They often themselves are poor and oppressed.
If they achieve a true equilibrium and work among the people long enough, they gain certain magical abilities:
- Fair measure: they can measure what they receive against what they give magically to know the context of what was given if it was a fair exchange - i.e., did the person give too much or too little based on what they have?
- Balanced exchange: they can increase what was given to them if it is not enough for what they gave away, if the person is oppressed, exploited, or abused.
- Aura of equality: they can invoke an aura that makes anyone seeking to harm them equal to them temporarily.
- Even count: they can transform goods or commodities that they are in their trading inventory such that they have an even count of all things.
- Transmutable value: they can turn the monetary value of something useless into utility if they receive something expensive but without utility.
Spravetorgovi are rare even in Vsemy, where most of them are from, but they travel through the lands of the empires and try to make things a little better. They are heavily criminalized by imperials.

Umil
Type: Servant
An umil is someone who serves not a lord or figure of power, but the people. They serve other oppressed, exploited, or abused people, engaging in acts of service that fill gaps in the community. In doing this, in living a life of pure service, they gain magic that allows them to be supportive in many ways.
To become an umil, one must sincerely believe in serving others, but also sincerely believe in resisting tyranny and exploitation. They must refuse service to the powerful in favor of serving the poor, and they must themselves not be exploitative, oppressive, or abusive. They must be among the meek, poor, and oppressed. And they must live this way for years, finding different ways to be of service to others, helping their community. They cannot knowingly seek to be an umil; they must come to it without intention. They must not know of any reward for their service. If they do this, magic will come to them.
After years of self-sacrifice and service, they will find themselves either visited by spirits, dreaming of rainbow beings, or found by an older and wiser umil. Regardless of which, they are told how to tap into the magic that has built up in them over the years. They will then be able to wield their magic in service to others:
- Supportive gesture: they can, with a gesture, grant another a bonus to one base stat temporarily.
- True service: they can choose to bind to a specific person to give them substats, skills, or lores until they choose to end the bond.
- Beneficial word: they can speak a word that helps anyone eligible who hears it, giving a small bonus to a specific task.
- Aura of aid: they may invoke an aura that helps others help others.
- Armor of kindness: they may grant defense to another in an act of kindness that gives that person a permanent bonus to defense if and only if they do it purely out of kindness with no benefit to themselves.
Umili are forbidden in imperial lands, often sought out to be arrested and enslaved.
