| Description | Rusii appear to be seals with legs before their hindflippers and foreflippers that can alternate between being flippers and arms. They stand between 3' and 7' tall, depending on which seal-type they are based on. |

Rusii can shed their skins once a year, becoming beautiful human-like beings for a day to a week. |
| Weaknesses | They can be clumsy on land, and despair magic or faith can kill them. Their true names are written on the insides of their skins, so anyone who takes part of their skin can have some control over them. |
| Culture | Rusii live in small groups in coastal regions. Their language consists of normal sounds, plus grunts and slaps which have varied and subtle meanings. They are known for their antics and entertainments, complicated entertainment rituals involving swimming dances and ball games. Rusii, like normal seals, fast during early child-rearing, which means they must glut themselves during pregnancy. Their feasts during these times are the stuff of legends. |
