Avery Which direction does that come from?

Dionysus Your right & low. Whoever is there is worth very little.

• Avery glances over at the speaker. "Nothing much. Maybe a bandana."

Dionysus "What ya need a bandana for, mistah?" And you sense him change from a small child to an adult worth quite a bit. His voice after the change is familiar: Rumbleford. "You /can/ just glamour one."

• Avery chuckles softly, faintly embarrassed. "I'm still getting used to that idea."

Dionysus Something Gift-value & small is pressed into your palm. "Any negative side effectof these hsards?"

• Avery closes his hand around it and slides it into a pocket, the hand absently tracing along his whistle-sheath as he pulls it out. "Not that I've noticed, no."

Dionysus He nods, "If you feel sick, overly tired, or have odd aches... well, the latter might not be currently noticeable."

Dionysus "Just let me know if you get sick."

• Avery chuckles. "I will. It's good to hear from you again."

Dionysus "And it's good to note you've found some of your powers. And faery tin. Where did that come from?"

• Avery smiles. "It was a gift. a reward, for helping someone."

Dionysus "It's ancient. It has to be from First Shem. Early First Shem, too."

• Avery looks surprised and more than a little awed. he runs a hand over the sheath. "Wow..."

Dionysus "Where do you think you'll be going next?"

Avery "I'm not sure...we've been meaning to go to the Island Bridge. Aurelia's got a lead on an Oboe there."

Dionysus "Made from morags?"

Dionysus Incredulously

Avery "I don't know. The location's on a map she has...and we might get a song there, too, from its guardian."

Dionysus "I see. Well, remember, if in danger from the morag, your vanishing will be handy. They can't crush you if your body has no substance."

• Avery nods. "Right."

Dionysus "Keeping away from iron-rich food?"

Avery "Yeah." he grins. "So far so good. I think it's mostly out of my system now."

Dionysus "Good. I'll try to catch up with you later," he says suddenly, then vanishes.

• Avery pauses a moment, then moves on, heading back to the ship.

Dionysus Do you glamour away the blood leaking down, too, or just put a cloth over the holes?

Avery He gets rid of the blood, too. this is a state occasion, after all.

Dionysus You manage to cover things up & have a bandana there. The color is close enough that no one will notice otherwise, if it isn't perfect.
