Description Ruby gaunts are impossibly thin, with red, mottled, burning skin. They have constantly shifting faces. Their horns curl inward. They have claws and a barbed tail. Their wings are large and bat-like. They make strange sounds.
Procreation Follows the mother.
Magic One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon.
Special Powers Their claws and tail cause an intense nauseating sensation if not used as a weapon. They have acute senses despite not having stable faces, and they can control the seas around them. They fear nothing and are impossible to look at. They can survive in deep oceans.
Weaknesses Iussian magic and faith can weaken them.
Culture Ruby gaunts are insane monsters that stalk the Pandemonian Sea.
