Once a leader of the colonials, Reliance made a deal with Queen Diaga to peacefully take over some land, agreeing to take the place of fairy during the Wild Hunt. He thought he would be on a hunting trip, not hunted himself. When he was instead, a few years later, taken by the Hunt, he was given the choice to become part of the Hunt or die. He chose service, and now he is an impossibly old servant to Scanruil, bearing his cup of souls.
