With each other, they produce other rel-ka'ar. With other ka'ar, it follows the mother. With other pseudohumans, it follows the mother. Varies with other races, either halfbreeds or no issue.

Rel-ka'ar have icy mist. The intensity of the cold ranges from average to supernatural, & their control tends to be the same. They are immune to the cold, & can sense the cold better than most. They can also phase through solid ice if need be.

Rel-ka'ar live in the far south, with a supreme leader known as the "Frost Shah," & an intricate society revolving around their hatred for normal ka'ar, their obsession with normal ka'ar's flame, & their fear of outsiders. Their four castes are tyr-ka'ar, the servants; ksh-ka'ar, the artisans; xur-ka'ar, the warriors; and uru-ka'ar, the elders. Tyr-ka'ar are icetenders, frost ranchers, and slaves. Ksh-ka'ar are furtraders, iceshapers, and callous merchants. Xur-ka'ar are heartless assassins. Uru-ka'ar are brutal dictators and harsh monks.
