Description Psyasterians are alien beings with elongated fingers and tight-fitting skin, and they have a ridge of bone along their brows. Their eyes are star-flecked and their hair is made of thin strands of minerals, mostly quartz. Their skin tone is a greyish yellow.
Procreation With each other to make new psyasterians. With asterian subraces, it follows the mother.
Esoterica Psyasterians have astrokinetic psionics in place of astral aetheric powers. Some practice other arts with aether. Poioumenonic arts, such as magic or wyrding, are rare, but soul and heart magic do naturally occur for one in every five hundred thousand psyasterians. Infernal and heavenly arts are rare as well, but void is more common than any other infernal art. Faith is not uncommon.
Special Powers Psyasterians have astrokinetic psionic abilities. All asterians know their cosmic position from birth.

Culture Psyasterians are considered protectors of ships and colonies because they can so easily control astral energies. In main asterian society, they are taken when they are young to special schools, where they are trained as thought police.
