A runed gnome who lived his early life as a slave to Aeldian nobles. He was in line to be consumed by an eccentric doppelganger when a peasant uprising freed him. The taste of freedom to him was so sweet that he began to dedicate his life to it. Within a few years, he was a notorious terrorist/freedom fighter in the Slave Buying Nations, and he came to the attention of Cheen, the Chainbreaker, Steward of the Platinum Rose, grandson of the Flowerlady. When Podox met this powerful freer of slaves, he immediately swore fealty. His current task is to aid the Seeker of Flowers in freeing the slaves of Vesturia.
