Son of Persephone Ravel, the Flowerbringer (who was daughter to the Lady in the Lake), and a human hero now long dead, Cheen is the grandson of the Flowerlady. His role is to break the chains of slavery, and metaphorical chains as well, around the world. He is also Vicegerent of the Platinum Blossom. Should Tychon ever fall, he will be one of the candidates for Marshall. His current goal is to free the Vesturian slaves.
