Description

Plads appear to be thin, frail plant-like humanoids with leafy hair about 6' tall. Their soulmates, vangelises, appear to be larger than normal cycads with faces in their skin/bark.

Procreation

Plads reproduce by mating with other mortal beings. Their soul mates, vangelises, reproduce via seeds.

Magic

1/200,000 plads have heart or soul magic. 1/1000 vangelises have heart or soul magic. Mind magic & body magic are possible, but very rare, as is void. Faith is common.

Special Powers

Plads & vangelises are connected via their souls, bound together so intimately it is difficult to see them separate.

Plads are immune to averse conditions and live on the moons, surviving without air or water. Instead, they absorb nutrients from sunlight and salts. They can control cosmic energies by flowing their leafy hairs.

Vangelises are connected to the hearts of the moons, and they can hear the whispers of stars. They are the most potent stellar vegetation, and they can control all cycads, stellar or not. They are toxic to the touch.

Weaknesses

Time magic or faith can harm them. A plads is bound to a vangelis and vice versa.

Culture

Plads live in colonies, mostly on 'Zue, where they build huge structures to capture sunlight for their green houses. In their green houses live the vangelises, whom they protect fiercely. The vangelises harves the cosmic energies and commune with the moons.
