| Description | Pelicanmen appear to be anthropomorphic pelicans. They have deep throat pouches, short square tails, 4 webbed toes, with feathers ranging from white to brown. |
| Procreation | Follows the mother. |
| Magic | One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon. |
| Special Powers | Pelicanmen are, oddly, known for their skill with axes. They are excellent swimmers. They soar and glide on thermals to go on semi-long flights. Their plumage is waterproofed by their oilglands. A mother pelicanwoman can revive or nourish her young with her own watery blood. In hunting, fishing, or battle, they employ a plunging maneuver. |
| Weaknesses | Fire magic or faith can harm them. While eating, they must drain their throat pouch, which leaves them vulnerable. |
| Culture | Pelicanmen live in colonies. They are very gregarious beings, sharing communal nesting areas, either in trees or on the ground. These two nesting areas determine what sort of culture the pelicanmen have--tree nesters are flashy individualists, while ground nesters have communal courtship rituals. |
