Seasonal monogamous relationships.

They are known for their great speed. Their society is nomadic, and they have been known to go weeks without food or water. They prefer wetlands and plains. Their loud voices are used to keep contact over many miles of open plains, and they tend to act as lookouts and watchmen because of this.

They have an open relationship-based society that is only seasonally monogamous--that is, they stick with one partner for a while, then go alone, then find another partner. There is no specific pattern to their choices, but it is considered unseemly to stay with the same partner forever. Romance is seen as a source of conflict and avoided. They tend to form strong friendships, though, and stick in pairs for long periods of time. The males are very protective of the young, even more so than the females, but both are known for their fierce protectiveness of the weak. Many females are known for their promiscuity, but it's unheard of for a male to be upset by this. They have many myths about great founding members of their species wandering the universe and belief that the sun is actually the egg of the last ozyn.
