In the Far North, in Cassaru, Otso dwells. The people around the pole do not speak his name, but refer to him as Friend, Brother, Uncle, or Forestcousin. He is sometimes called mesikaemmen (honey palm) or metsaen kuningas (king of the forest). He is the King of the arctic forests south of the Horns of the World, and few dare enter his wood. He is massive, ancient, and a protector of the world.
