| Description | Ophanim appear to be two burning wheels, one within the other, covered in eyes. They are beryl colored. Fire surrounds them. They never touch the ground. Ophanim carry the throne of the Beloved Divine, and they chant glorias to her as they do. Their voices are beautiful, and they bring justice and harmony as they move. |

| Esoterica | All angels gain power from the Divine they serve. They are made of heavenly light, and therefore, all of their powers are filtered through that energy. Ophanim are imbued with love resonance, dumaqu, radiance, and the Divine might of Love. Other powers vary and are limited in their uses, but unholy powers are impossible. |
| Special Powers | Each kind of angel has special powers based on their function in service to their Divine. All angels have a holy aura. For ophanim that aura is pure holy, all-encompassing love. All angels also communicate directly to the souls of the faithful or those who have not been wholly corrupted. |
| Scribe | Scribe ophanim have powers that aide them in the administration of their domains. They have a pen made from one of their feathers [or equivalent], called a stylus. An ophan's stylus has the power to inscribe words of love that protect those who are loved. They have an oculus power that allows them to see emotions. They also have an aspectu, which is their power to see and understand relationships between individuals with a glance. All scribes understand any non-evil language and have the power to understand their Divine's judgment of a mortal and inscribe it upon the scrolls of Heaven. |
| Herald | Herald ophanim's powers aide them in spreading the Word of Love. They bear a trumpet called a lituus, which fills the hearts of those who hear it. Those with hearts full of love become elated and comforted. Those who have hearts full of hatred become forlorn, lost, and yearning. Most are in between. Their cross, or crucis, dispels anger and frustration in those near it. And their scrolls bear the Word, which inspire earnest affection and love in the hearts of those who read or hear them. Herald ophanim have a capio, or required task, which requires them to spread love throughout the world. As they do this, they become stronger. Their oculus allows them to see emotions, and their infundere allows them to infuse beauty into those with love in their hearts. Heralds can appear anywhere, though if they appear in unholy areas, it can hurt them. They speak all non-evil tongues. No one who hears their words, or voce, will ever forget them. |
| Warrior | Warrior ophanim have powers that aide them in fighting evil. They bear a sword called a gladius and a shield called a scutum (though their appearances to not necessarily match those terms). Their gladius burns with sapphire flame that affects flesh and emotion, and their scutum is beautiful to behold and blinds those who are foul of heart. Their oculus allows them to see emotions. They have a presence called a coram, which calms and soothes those they have affection for. Warriors gain power through service. For every 1,000 beings of pure evil they destroy, they gain a new power, capping at twelve:

| Guardian | Guardian ophanim protect those in love or those who are loved and followers of Love. Those they protect cannot see them without esoteric intervention. If their ward's soul is in incredible danger, they can intervene at the cost of their existence. Guardian ophanim have a power called teneo, which allows them to absorb hatred and anger to protect their ward. Their oculus allows them to see emotions, and their augere power allows them to increase the love in their ward, if need be. Once in the life of their ward, they may physically intervene to protect them, surrounding them with a holy barrier that repel violence and danger. |
| Lord | Lord ophanim are the most powerful of all angels. Their very presence exudes power. This is called coram. For lord ophanim, their presence is one of perfect loving adulation, allowing them repel those without capacity to love. Every lord angel gains power both from serving their Divine and from being served by lesser angels. The gain a new power every Age they exist in service, capping at twelve:

| Service | Ophanim serve Love. Scribe ophanim administer the work of Love. They keep track of the lovers, children, and friendships of all mortals and followers of Love. They do all of the minor tasks that make the realm of Beauty, Love, and Affection work. Herald ophanim spread -love in the world. They leave the Gardens and Jewelled City and spread the Word, seeking out those mortals who will do great works of Love and Friendship in the world and empowering them. They also carry messages for Love between Her and other Divines. Warrior ophanim are the army of Love and Beauty. They oppose evil in all its forms and serve as Love's defense against the powers of the Infernal. They are a compassionate, caring army led by their Leader Umaea. Guardian ophanim protect the loved and innocent and followers of Love. They exist as protectors. Holier beings sometimes have more than one guardian. They cannot leave their service to their ward, or they fall. Lord ophanim run the Gardens and the Jewelled City and see to it that all other ophanim are doing as they must. |
