There are 9 major bodies of water that dominate the world, according to oceanographers. Six are oceans, three are major seas. Though technically, the Reever Sea is part of the Wyren Ocean, it is counted separately for political and social reasons. The Indigo Sea is technically part of the Altic Ocean, and the Eastern Sea is split between the Red Ocean and the Great Southern Ocean.
