A nymphaculus is a little nymph created through alchemical arts, specifically alchemical arts that capture dumaqu. The chemical recipe for creating a nymphaculus involves the maker's sperm or menstruation, but varies by maker otherwise. Those who do not produce sperm or menstruation can sometimes use that of another, but it requires much more dumaqu.

Nymphaculi are living, functional living people, but they do not have souls and cannot reproduce (these two things are not related). They usually stand about 4" tall. The esoteric process to create them leaves them with residual powers and a bond to their maker.

Powers:
The nymphaculus has all the powers of a nymph, but at a minuscule scale, but sometimes, they gain other powers from their maker or from other energies that affect the process.

The Recipe:
First the maker must take their own blood and prepare it, infusing their it with liquid distilled dumaqu or liquid love once per hour for forty hours. Take the sperm or egg of a being and place it in a gourd in the heart of a bird for forty days. After this time, it should look like a transparent nymph with no body, but rather made of dumaqu light. It must be fed the blood of the maker for up to forty weeks and be kept in the heart of the fish until whole.
