A hard life as a nightingale born to a woman with no husband lead her to be a fighter. She fights tooth and nail to survive in a world that has very little pity for single women, and she and her daughters find their newfound good fortune suspect. She'll milk it for all its worth, and slowly, she is forgiving her father. Her marriage is one of convenience to her, but her husband is a good and loving man.
