Description Nirukkatialls appear to be anthropomorphic figures with inky grey skin, patches of scales on their bodies, and tentacles on their heads like hair. Their eyes are deep pits of darkness. When they stretch out their arms, an image of a giant squid appears around them.
Procreation With each other.
Esoterica One in five million have heart or soul magic. All have soulbonding. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon. Infernal arts are common. Other esoterica is possible, except qi arts.
Special Powers Nirukkatialls can bond their souls to any squid, and they can control weaker squids with their voices. They have a communal bond connecting their hearts and minds, and they are resistant to poison. They can elongate their arms, and when they do, the arms become blades and their squid-auras appear. The squid-aura determines what kind of squid they are able to merge with. If they merge with a squid, they become permanently part of the communal soul of the race.

Nirukkatialls can also sense msawhat. If they remain in one area long enough, they will instinctively find a squid to merge with--they call this "fading."
Weaknesses Qi and holy powers.
Culture Nirukkatialls lurk in the depths and lure in young things to eat.
