| Description | Nileans are anthropomorphic caracals. They are medium sized felinoid animalmen (about 5'10" tall) with black ears ending in tufts. They are slender, muscular, and have long legs and short tails. Their fur is short, typically yellow to reddish brown fur. |

| Special Powers | Nileans are bondsmages. They hunt in bonded pairs. They have excellent hearing, jumping, and climbing abilities--they can catch birds in flight. They can camouflage themselves by lying flat to the ground and remaining motionless. As bonded pairs, they have Sanic, Kizadhi, and Coradi spheres of magic at their command, as well as Azure and Ochre. They can walk on sand with ease. They have a bark as well as other felinian vocalizations. Nilean bonded pairs' identities tend to merge as they age. |

| Culture | Nileans are very territorial. They grow up in bonded pairs that share everything, but they tend to prefer not to share much with others, except at the yearly festival in Azet where they sing and dance and feast together as one large family. The festival is also where they contest each other for their bonding partners, when they come of age. Nileans are known for the perfumes they create. |
