Beliefs:
Pomelia (Church of Two Faces, Tythian): Truth is objective, it cannot be changed. To lie is to deny the universe. Honesty and truthfulness are paramount. Never lie. Never omit the truth. Accept reality.
Pomelia (Church of Two Faces, Liars): Truth is subjective, the universe is basically a lie, a construct. Our version of the truth. Honesty is respectable, but impossible. Lying is acceptable because we can't do anything but.
Pomelia (Church of Two Faces, Mirrors): Truth is both subjective and objective. There is an objective truth to be found in some ways, but our understanding of it is subjective. Lying is acceptable to a degree, but understanding and spreading the truth is important.
Afterlife:
Almost all followers of Truth believe that when they die, they will be judged in the light of Truth. In this moment, they receive Enlightenment, and then, they will admit their part in the Truth. It is their realization, though, and they then face the consequences of their own accord. The unrighteous descend to the Hells for their just Punishment. The imperfect accept a purgatorial state wherein they will earn the right to find the Truth in the Promised Lands. The righteous accept their Salvation in the Promised Lands. Those who cannot face their own Truth in Enlightenment, however, end up in a limbo where nothing happens.
