| Description | Mungisis are anthropomorphic mongeese. They stand about 5' tall and have a range of coats, but always thick. Coats may be brindled, grizzled, or marked. They have small, round ears and narrow faces, with short legs and long, narrow tail. Their bodies are longer than seems proportional. They have narrow oval pupils, and their claws do not retract. |
| Procreation | Follows the mother. |
| Magic | One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon. |
| Special Powers | Mungisis are immune to serpent venom. They have sharp senses, and their coats are thick and protective. A mungisi who has attained greater glory can spit jewels from its mouth. They are fearless. They have scent glands. |
| Weaknesses | Despair magic or faith can harm them. |
| Culture | Mungisis live alone or in small families. They hate snakes and kill them when they find them. They live to fight for glory, and they live to teach others how to fight. They are known to take power from their kills by eating them (if they are not intelligent). Every mungisi tribe has sentinels that are considered the greatest of their warriors. They are known for their generosity. |
