Motivations
Motivations are a character's ideas, thoughts, and emotional connections. They come in three types: Passions (what they want), Convictions (what they believe), and Relationships (how they feel about others). While roleplaying, if they engage with a motivation, they may earn a token.
Passions
Passions are a person's goals. Some random examples include the following:
- Adam: I will kill the man who killed his pet goat.
- Belladonna: I will one day be a rich woman.
- Cimber: I will marry my one true love, Delle.
- Delle: I want to find the lost treasure of the pirate Merian Blood.
Convictions
Convictions are a person's beliefs. Some random examples include the following:
- Adam: My pet goat was the reincarnation of an ancient god.
- Belladonna: Capitalists are entitled to all the wealth of the world.
- Cimber: There are more than two genders.
- Delle: Ducks are a tool of the conspiracy.
Relationships
Relationships are how a person feels about others. Some random examples include the following:
- Adam:
- Pet goat: My one true love.
- Belladonna:
- Workers: They are ungrateful when they try to unionize and I will punish them.
- Cimber:
- Delle: I love them with all of my heart.
- Delle:
- Cimber: They are very sweet, but I am leading them on to learn what they know of the treasure.
- Treasure of Merian Blood: I need it to pay off my debts to my former master.
These can be as complex or as simple as the player likes.
