| Procreation | With each other, they produce other mar-ka'ar. With other ka'ar, it follows the mother. With other pseudohumans, it follows the mother. Varies with other races, either halfbreeds or no issue. |
| Magic | 1/1000000 have soul magic, 1/1000000 have heart magic. Mind, body, & void are all possible. |
| Special Powers | Mar-ka'ar have the very strong flame. The heat of their flame can kill a man (14-20), & their control is quite high (15-22). They can sense fire more keenly than most, & they are almost completely immune to it. They can also create a flame armor about themselves that protects them from many attacks my burning or melting the weapons used against them. |
| Culture | They are the fierce & proud warrior caste of ka'ar society. Very few ever leave, & those that try are often killed. |
| Notables | Ul-ka'ar Riqish, the first leader of the mar-ka'ar armies. |
| Weaknesses | Submersion in water can kill a mar-ka'ar, though the fire armor can protect against this longer than most. |
