Gyromancy - A kind of divination said to have been practised by walking round in a circle or ring until the performer fell from dizziness, the manner of his fall being interpreted with reference to characters or signs previously placed about the ring, or in some such way.

Necromancy - The practice of supposedly communicating with the spirits of the dead in order to predict the future.

Crithomancy - A kind of divination practised among the ancients by means of cakes offered in sacrifice, or of meal spread over the victim.
Semenancy - Divination by interpreting patterns formed by male seminal fluid, usually on the skin of the receptive partner.
Arithmancy - Divination by numbers
Gastromancy - A kind of divination among the ancients by means of words which seemed to be uttered from the belly; divination by ventriloquism.
Libanomancy - Divination by the burning of frankincense.
Lampadomancy - An ancient method of divination from the variations in the color and motions of the flame of a lamp or torch.
Lecanomancy - Divination by throwing three stones into water in a basin and invoking the aid of a demon.
Enoptomancy - Divination by means of a mirror.
Hydatomancy - Divination by interpreting rainwater. Omens are drawn from the various formations and sizes of rain puddles, and bowls of rainwater are gazed upon until clairvoyant visions appear on the surface of the water, or in the mind's eye. This is considered in some cases to be more important than hydraomancy because rain has fallen from the heavens, making it sacred.
Ichthymancy - Divination by means of the heads or the entrails of fishes.
Idolomancy - Divination by means of images or idols.
Daphnomancy - Soothsaying by means of the laurel.
Hypatomancy - Among the ancients, divination by inspection of the livers of animals.
Hippomancy - Divination by the interpretation of the appearance and behaviour of horses. Their neighing and stamping are particularly noted.
Coscinomancy - An old mode of divination, consisting in suspending a sieve, or fixing it to the point of a pair of shears, then repeating a formula of words and the names of persons suspected of some crime or other act. If the sieve moved when a name was repeated, the person named was deemed guilty.
Crystallomancy - A mode of divining by means of a transparent body, as a precious stone, crystal globe, etc., formerly in high esteem. The operator first muttered over the crystal (a beryl was preferred) certain formulas of prayer, and then gave it into the hands of a young man or a virgin, who thereupon, by oral communication from spirits in the crystal, or by written characters seen in it, was supposed to receive the information desired.
Dactyliomancy - Divination by means of a finger-ring. There are many modes, some in use in parts of Europe to this day; in all either a magic ring is used, or an ordinary finger-ring, in which some part of the spirit of the wearer is supposed to linger, and the movements of which are supposed to indicate his feelings or future actions.
Cleromancy - Divination by throwing dice or lots, and interpreting according to certain rules the points or marks turned up.
Enoptromancy - Divination by means of a mirror or other reflective surfaces.
Entomomancy - Divination by the behaviour and appearance of insects.
Felidomancy - Divination by interpreting the appearance and behaviour of cats.
Capnomancy - Divination by the ascent or motion of smoke.
Catoptromancy - A species of divination among the ancients, performed by letting down a mir ror into water for a sick person to look at his face in it. If the countenance appeared distorted and ghastly, it was an ill omen; if fresh and healthy, it was favorable.
Ceromancy - Divination from the forms assumed by drops of melted wax let fall into water.
Chaomancy - Divination by means of the atmosphere or by aërial visions; clairvoyance; second sight.
Chartomancy - Divination or fortune-telling by means of cards or written papers.
Ichnomancy - Divination by observation of footprints.
Labiomancy - Divination or interpretation by means of the motions of the lips; specifically, lip-reading.
Machairomancy - Divination by means of a sword.
Metopomancy - Divination by means of the characteristics of the face.
Molybdomancy - Divination by means of the behavior of molten lead, conclusions being based on the number, form, etc., of the drops.
Oomancy - Divination by the examination of eggs.
Phyllomancy - Divination by means of the movements of leaves.
Scyphomancy - An old form of divination in which a cup was used.
Tyromancy - Divination by means of cheese.
Theriomancy - Divination by observation of beasts.
Zoomancy - The art of divination from observation of animals, or of their actions under given circumstances.
Belomancy - A kind of divination by means of arrows
Botanomancy - An ancient method of divination by means of plants, especially by means of the leaves of the sage and fig. A person's name and the question to which an answer was desired were written on the leaves, which were then laid out exposed to the wind; as many of the letters as remained in their places were taken up and joined together to form some word, which was supposed to be an answer to the question.
Geloscopy - A kind of divination drawn from laughter, or a method of ascertaining the qualities and character of a person from observation of his way of laughing.

Myomancy - A kind of divination or method of foretelling future events by the movements of mice.
Aenomancy - A mode of divination among the ancient Ledeans, from the color, sound, and other peculiarities of wine when poured out in libations.
Omphalomancy - Divination by means of the number of knots in the navel-string of a childa fancied indication as to how many more children its mother will have.
Onychomancy - A kind of divination by means of the finger-nails.

Sideromancy - A species of divination performed by burning straws, etc., upon red-hot iron, and observing their bendings, figures, sparkling, and burning.
Spasmatomancy - Divination from spasmodic or involuntary movements, as of the muscles, features, or limbs.
Spatilomancy - Divination by means of animal excrements and refuse.
Spodomancy - Divination by means of ashes.
Cephalomancy - Divination by means of a head; A kind of divination formerly practised in detecting guilt. Lighted coals having been placed on the head of an ass, prayers were recited, and the names of suspected persons pronounced at random. The one whose name happened to be called at the moment that the ass brayed with pain was presumed to be guilty.
Anthracomancy - Divination by means of burning coals.
Anthropomancy - Divination by inspecting the entrails of a human being.
Astragalomancy - Divination by means of huckle-bones or dice.
Axinomancy - An ancient kind of divination for the detection of crime by means of an ax or axes. One form consisted in poising an ax on a bar, and repeating the names of persons suspected. If the ax moved at the name of any one, he was pronounced guilty
Aeromancy - Divination by means of the air and winds or atmospheric phenomena: now sometimes used to denote the practice of forecasting changes in the weather.
Aleuromancy - A method of divination by meal or flour, practised by the ancients.
Alphitomancy - Divination by means of barley-meal.
Ambulomancy - Divination by walking.
Austromancy - Divination from observation of the winds.
Cartomancy - Divination by means of playing-cards.
Demonomancy - Divination while under the influence or inspiration of the devil or of demons.
Alectryomancy - An ancient practice of foretelling events by means of a cock. The letters of the alphabet were traced on the ground in squares within a circle, and a grain of corn was placed on each; a cock was then permitted to pick up the grains, and the letters under them, being formed into words in the order of their selection by the cock, were supposed to foretell the event.
Cromniomancy - Divination by onions or onion sprouts.
Dactylomancy - Divination by various methods using rings. Such as using silver or gold rings placed on the fingernails in patterns in conjunction with the planets.
Dendromancy - Divination by leaves and branches of plants and trees. Especially oak and mistletoe.
Logarithmancy - Divination using logarithms.
Lunomancy - divination by interpreting shadows created by moonlight on a person's face dusted with silver. This is most often done on the full moon to have the highest moonlight intensity.
Margaritomancy - Divination by pearls.
Cyclomancy - Divination by interpreting wheels or any other revolving objects.
Hexagramancy - Pertaining to hexagrams as a means of divination.
Nephomancy - Divination by use of the movement of clouds.
Logomancy - Divination with words.
Ophiomancy - The art of divining or predicting events by serpents, as by their manner of coiling themselves or of eating.
Stigomancy - Divination by writing on the bark of a tree.
Cleidomancy - Divination by means of a key, especially by means of a key fastened into a Bible or other book, the object being to ascertain who is to be one's lover or sweetheart. When the right name is mentioned or the initial letter uttered, the book and key are expected to move in the hands of the person who holds them. Formerly this method was used to detect those guilty of theft
Tephromancy - Augury depending on the inspection of the ashes of a sacrifice.
