On what was once the outskirts of town, near the small Bankerton community, Main Street was called Highway 64 back before the movie industry moved in. Belle Point was a moderate, comfortable small town with no real connections to the world. A sprawling mess, owning more land than it needed, it was really just a few spread out miles of civilization.

Then, after an experiment filming in the Kali Jungles ended with half the staff dead of malaria, some genius said, "It's sunnier, dryer, cheaper, and more spacious out on the coast. I got a cousin in Belle Point, says he has deed for some land he'd sell us."

And so it was, the movies moved to Belle Point. Now, 9 major studios keep their operations on Main Street between Seashore and Wall Access Road B.
