Ogre, Macrinoth (Spy), servant woman, species traitor, elected after the Lost Years 60 years ago

As an ogre, she is descended of a family that was once privileged and powerful, but they fell on hard times two generations ago. She grew up in poverty, but her species has allowed her access to the halls of power as a privileged servant. She works as a washerwoman, carrying heavy loads from noble house to mansion to palace to penthouse, listening to them talk as if she weren't there. Though she is tall, she is thin and stooped - this started as a pose to go unnoticed and has developed into an actual physical shape - and the rich and powerful pay her heed only enough to tell her which pile of clothing and linens to take to clean.

She joined the Blue Grith after she learned of a cruel plan by two nobles to hunt their slaves. She was horrified and sought someone to save the slaves, which brought her into contact with the Grith. The relationship grew, and she was the one who warned them of the planned Camisade (the series of night attacks that nearly wiped out the Blue Grith 60 years ago). It was not enough to save everyone, but some lives were saved, and after the previous Secretary for Information died saving other Blue Grith spies, Mahaut was elected to replace them.
