| Description | Lucayans are slender human-like beings of about 7' in height. Their skin tones run darker and their hair is usually curly and dark. They are usually adorned with bright feathers, tropical leaves, elaborately dyed clothing, cheap jewelry, and braids. |
| Procreation | Follows the mother. |
| Esoterica | |
| Island | Lucayans have a species memory of the lost Island of Eternity. They seek to recreate it in island societies. They gain strength by communing with the island and the emotional resonance of their community. They also gain the power on their island to sense the emotions of others around them. Outside the island, they do not have this empathic power. |
| Special Powers | A lucayan values small pleasures and can craft illusions using emotional resonance. They can also alter liquids to become rumvine like their zile cousins, but it is not quite as potent. |
| Weaknesses | Hegnh and despair resonance can harm them. |
| Culture | Lucayans live in small societies in cays, narrow, sandy strips on coral reefs. Their villages are mostly made up of extended families who trade and support other families on nearby cays. They love to play little games, trick each other and others, and live peacefully. Their villages are led by the most serious among them, usually an elder, but very rarely are they able to enforce much order. Though their villages are a little chaotic, they are not anarchic. Children are taken care of until they are able to play freely, and lucayans put little attention on training or education. They are not completely ignorant or unskilled, however, but their focus is elsewhere.
