Son of the sollarian hero Brillian and a knight of Tara'hin, Lithain is the embodiment of Honor. He exists to be the exemplary figure of Honor on Shem. Since First Shem, he has served at the Goddess's command, fighting honorably against the powers of evil. He and the sollarian warrior known as the Jack of the Corona (Brillian's father) joined forces to create the Order of the Sunflower, an order of knights that works in foreign lands to further the cause of Honor.

In recent times, he and the Order have been ordered to Palhur to help repel the threat of trollish invasion.
