Lake beasts are huge, generally fishlike creatures that live in deep lakes. Most seem to prefer cold water lakes, but some are found in warmer climes. They vary greatly lake to lake, but are mostly content to live at the bottom of such lakes, eating fish & ignoring the surface. When they do surface, they are not often attacking anything, but merely warming themselves or enjoying the water.
