"The Beautiful" was once a Danuan settlement not far from Belle Point, a rolling stretch of vistas and parks where rich, powerful Danuans came to escape the wars and find some peace on the savannah. As time and urban sprawl caught up with them, though, La Bella degenerated from vistas and parks to shanty town to outright slum. Now, after decades of wear and tear, almost nothing is left of the fabulous manors of yesteryear. Tenement buildings replaced them, and neglect took all the shine and polish off the parks. Bounded by Seashore to the south, Agoni to the west, Glimmer and La Bella Arc to the east, and El Arbol Park to the north, La Bella is surrounded by its betters, a quiet blemish on a once proud area that few care to recognize.
