Description A kitezhi appears to be a glowing human dressed in simple clothing, with humble features and dispositions.
Procreation Kitezhis come from the pure of heart and soul. When a pure soul dies, since it will go to heaven and not be reincarnated, it is replaced by a kitezhi on the world.
Magic One in ten have soul magic. One in a million have heart magic. Mind & body magic are possible. Void is impossible. Holy faith is ubiquitous.
Special Powers Kitezhis gain their powers from prayer and devotion. The longer they devote themselves in prayer, the stronger they will be. Their tools & clothes take on a shell of holiness as soon as they are used, and around any kitezhi is an aura of holy energy that deters evil and sin. They live in lakes.
Weaknesses Corruptive energies harm them.
Culture Kitezhis live beneath the surface of lakes, where their collective prayers make them undetectable by the impure, though some might see the flicker of lights as they make their prayer processionals beneath the waters. It is said that the originals lived above ground, but were attacked by invading forces. They prayed for redemption, and the Queen of Heaven brought forth great fountains of water to flood their town and submerge it, protecting them forever.
