An Evernorthern elven bladesinger who became a White Knight when he in the wake of Starfall, when everyone in the world panicked the end was near. He wanted to be part of the armies of the Wintermother, and he saw this as his best path. He has since become an integral part of the Order of White Winter, being their best pathfinder. The disease that is killing the elves has not yet affected him.

In the order, he was tested during the coldest months of a very cold winter. He was sent out with the mission to survive in the wilderness for two months with nothing but his steed, his sword, and three objects of his choosing of his own personal possession that he was able to carry with him. He brought supplies for his horse. During his time in the wilderness, he found that his steed was more a hindrance than anything else, so he sent it back on its own (successfully) and continued living in the cold and open for the rest of the duration of his trial. During the coldest, longest night of his trial, he began to actually feel the brutal cold, and the chill sent him into a dream wherein the North Wind itself called to him. He wandered the dream mountains to a place where he met the North Wind, and there he fought in single combat a ferocious, berzerking yeti. When he awoke, he had cold blood on his clothing; he was somewhere high in the mountains; and he knew his sigil would be the North Wind.

His family is moderate nobility, related to the royal line going back 114 generations. Kinimian is one of three Knights sent to find and kill the owner of the Gelid Blood.
