The King of Bowls, Boru No O, lives at the bottom of a river in Tenzanai. He is the most powerful and ancient of the kappas, and the very brave seek him out for favor or counsel. Most avoid him, however, for he is a notorious prankster. He delights in causing trouble, and if his prank goes awry, he will drown his victims in embarrassment for his mistakes.

Some have been able to bind the King to their service by tricking him, but it is a dangerous game with few benefits.
