Khanga was hatched in the dark hatcheries under the Vimalan mountains. Upon her birth, the Mother Naga knew that she was special--her scales were blood red and her body emanated infernal energies. None could ascertain who fathered her.

She served the Queen-Priest there until she was old enough to become a priestess. Then, she was sent far north to Vesturia, where she would aid the Night-Empress. Her whole life has been about serving the powerful. Her yearning for power of her own was answered when she, amongst the many servants of Night, was chosen to be sent to Harkanheim to establish the Faith there.

Once there, however, the servants of Blapshemy corrupted her. She turned apostate, and the power in her apostacy was greater than any before her. She became a serpent of fuligin, a naga-child of blasphemous might, anathema to all faith.
