Keymastering is the masculine counterpart to Gatekeeping. Though ineffective on its own beyond the banishing of lesser demons (see: Heartless) and stress relief, combined with Gatekeeping it can be devastating.

The method for this union generally involves the Keymaster opening the Gatekeepers gate with his key. This can be done very quickly, though it is commonly believed to be more fulfilling, if not more effective, when adequate time is taken. The Gatekeeper then spends time in preparation which can last months. If the ritual is successful, at the end of this time the Gatekeeper is able to bring an eldrich abomination into the world (see: Gozer the Gozerian).
